supercell – 君の知らない物語 (Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari)

Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari by supercell, ED to Bakemonogatari, one of the better shows of this season. Bakemonogatari is adopted from a series of light novels by NisiOisiN, famous for his Zaregoto series. The video above is not actually the PV of the song, but a MAD from Nico Nico Douga (account required). The real PV could be found here, but I much prefer this version.

久石譲コンサート2006 (Joe Hisaishi Concert 2006)

Total cop-out day, but I just found these videos on Youtube (I know they are old), but frankly, Joe Hisaishi’s music is so beautiful. At the same time, I will be offline for the next week or so and I have to pack. So please enjoy the excellent music by Joe Hisaishi.

いきものがかり – 流星ミラクル (Ryuusei Miracle)

“Ryuusei Miracle” by Ikimono-gakari is the OP theme for「天保異聞 あやかしあやし」(Tenpou Ibun Ayakashi Ayashi). I didn’t realize that it was an OP theme for an anime series when I first got the single, but realized it later when I marathoned the series. Speaking of which, it is a great pity that the series got such a low rating and viewership despite a refreshing storyline and excellent production value. Needless to say, I really enjoyed watching Ayakashi Ayashi.

ジン – 解読不能 (Kaidoku Funou)

“Kaidoku Funou” is Jinn’s third single, and also the second OP theme for「コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ」(Code Geass Hangyaku no Lelouch). While many fans of Code Geass have expressed their dislike of this song, this single boosted Jinn in the top ten in the Oricon Charts for the first time.

いきものがかり – HANABI

The first time that I came across Ikimono-gakari was their first single, “SAKURA”, but I didn’t pay attention to them too much though I liked the song. “HANABI”, though really made an impression on me as the 7th ED theme of Bleach.
