Love Planet Five (I’ve special unit) – 天壌を翔る者たち (Tenjo wo Kakeru Monotachi)

Considering that the 灼眼のシャナ (Shakugan no Shana) movie was released last month (4/21/2007), and I just got my hands on the two theme song single CDs (this and 赤い涙/Beehive (Akai Namida), what kind of Shana fan would I be if I don’t write about them?

First, the single itself only contains three tracks, “Tenjo wo Kakeru Monotachi” in its original, karaoke, and “Raven fly edit” forms. “Tenjo wo Kakeru Monotachi” is a rather good song, and IMHO, a bit more catchy than “Akai Namida” by Kawada Mami (川田まみ). Perhaps it’s because “Tenjo wo Kakeru Monotachi” has a faster rhythm, or because the five voices in Love Planet Five intermixes rather well. The remix version of “Tenjo wo Kakeru Monotachi” has even more of a dance feel, and I cannot help but say that the remix is even more catchy. Over, I’d say that “Tenjo wo Kakeru Monotachi” is rather enjoyable as a song, but the single with its single song and one remix, leaves me wanting more.

Btw, and if you don’t know already, all the members of Love Planet Five are Seiyuus under I’ve, and it makes watching the music video a bit painful at time.
