レゾンデートル (Raison d’Etre) by Nightmare is the OP for Claymore, and frankly, I’m currently addicted to that series (both the manga and the anime). Nightmare, however, probably was known better for their single for Deathnote: the WORLD/アルミナ.

I found myself being totally burned out from work last week and decided to dig through my dusty stack of anime sitting in my HDD waiting to be watched. I wanted something mindless and shortish, so I thought Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou Tou (東京魔人學園剣風帖 龖) suited my needs pretty well.
Dramatic is the OP for the anime series Ookiku Furikabutte (大きく振りかぶって), a series that I haven’t watched. However, it’s rhythm and melody was rather catching.
“Uninstall” by Ishikawa Chiaki is the OP for ぼくらの (Bokurano), a series that I kinda dropped after the first few episodes. For those who don’t know, Ishikawa Chiaki is part of See-Saw with Kajura Yuki, known most recently for their .hack//Sign and Gundam Seed songs.
Considering that the 灼眼のシャナ (Shakugan no Shana) movie was released last month (4/21/2007), and I just got my hands on the two theme song single CDs (this and 赤い涙/Beehive (Akai Namida), what kind of Shana fan would I be if I don’t write about them?
Normally, I don’t usually like songs like “Danzai no Hana” ED theme for Claymore, but for some reason, I found myself rather drawn to this song.
“HOWLING” by abingdon boys school is the OP theme for Darker than Black: -Kuro no Keiyakusha- (Darker than BLACK -黒の契約者-), and I think the song was tailored specific for the anime. That doesn’t mean that the song is bad, but that it suits the show perfectly.
